This comforter is simply stunning. The picture on the website doesn't do this piece any justice! Each 'stripe' has a crushed fabric texture that feels absolutely luxurious and gives the set an almost shimmering appearance (the stripes on the pillow shams are similar). The fabric is very soft and rich, and the underside is indescribably comfortable. The simple black bedskirt adds a final bit of flair. Overall, this set (especially the texturing of the comforter!) looks very luxurious, but not ostentatious or showy: It is literally casual luxury. Also, I was a little worried about buyinng a black comforter lest I end up with a dull, black 'blob' in the middle of my bedroom (my previous comforter was a rich grey). However, the charcoal colour is a very lucious, complex black, and the texturing and fabric selection ensures your bed won't just become a giant black hole in the room.

This is an extremely beautiful bed set. It has the Calvin Klein and DKNY appeal and it feels amazingly soft. The color is a shiny charcoal gray whcih goes with almost any color you want. It's luxurious and afordable.

Great product for the price. Looks great with dark purple. It actually appears to have a slight hint of purple, when paired up with purple pillows.

This comforter is even nicer than I expected! Feels like silk, looks fantastic, color is perfect, and it is warm as toast. What more could you want?

I was really nervous about buying a comforter set online, wanted something dark but not 'black' - And not too feminine. I decided to order this set and got it yesterday, I was so surprised! It is the perfect shade of gunmetal grey, very 'adult' and so soft... And the fabric is so cool with the ridges in the comforter and pillows. The top has the ridges, and the underside is a soft fabric which is just awesome. I would reccomend this set to anyone looking for something casual but classy. A must have!

I bought this comforter as a present for my boyfriend, and when I got the comforter it looked purple. I had read the reviews and saw that some people said that it looked purple, but there were more good reviews then bad. If your looking for a black comforter DO NOT BUY IT.

I purchased this comforter months ago for my apartment as I was wanting a dark grey bedspread.....when I took it home it had a purple tint to it so I returned it. When I moved into my home I ended up painting my spare bedroom a very light lavender so I went back and bought it again! I really do like it, it gives the room a classy hotel feel. It lays nicely, not super thick if that's what you are looking for...and definitely not charcoal.

I just received my comforter set and it looks amazing. I don't typically purchase much online so I was a bit skeptical. I was so happy when I opened the package. The detail on it is beautiful - the picture does not give it justice. The material is super soft as well. It truly is a great deal.

After reading the reviews, I was excited to get this set. However, it just didn't make the grade for us. LOVE the color, but the top fabric is a weird polyester feel and the underside is a rough cotton. I did like that it wasn't terribly overstuffed as many comforters are (if you're looking for something lighter). Also, I'm not sure what was the cause, but this thing rustled around and sounded like tissue paper. We knew right away there was no way our dog could be on this comforter without snagging the fabric or even possibly ripping it. Would probably be great for a guest room, though. It's a beautiful design, but I would have paid more to have had better quality. Unfortunately I returned it.
